LOCATION: The Music Room, 327 Edgewood Ave.(Downstairs from Pizzeria Vesuvius)
Atlanta is building a new electric streetcar rail system. But how big will it be?
Voters decide July 31.
If voters give the green light, the system will expand. Construction begins this summer on rail transit down Auburn and Edgewood Avenues. But only if voters approve on July 31, will rail expand to North Avenue and parts of the Beltline.
We've asked Joshuah Mello, Assistant Director for Transportation Planning with City of Atlanta, to tell us how the July 31 vote will affect intown rail transit.
Bring a friend and join us for the first of several Happy Hours to help us all learn how our votes on July 31 could shape Atlanta for decades to come.
